Join us at Barra this Melbourne Food and Wine Festival for an unforgettable Peruvian-Filipino Celebration!

Executive Chef Alejandro Saravia (Morena & Barra, Farmer’s Daughters) and Culinary Director John Rivera (Askal)  explore the parallels between Peruvian and Filipino cuisines, highlighting their shared Spanish influence and connection with the land. Together, they present a share-style feast, merging the unique flavours of Latin America and the Philippines.

Spencer Gulf kingfish aguachile rojo, avocado, morita oil

Spanish Mackerel kinilaw with coconut, makrut lime and young ginger

Adobo tasting - A fun and tasty way to discover the dish that brings the connection between the Philippines and Latin America together +$26pp

  • Filipino Adobo - chicken wing adobo stuffed with chrysanthemum sticky rice

  • Peruvian style adobo - Crispy pork dumplings, adobo sauce.
